The hashtag #Except_Messenger_of_God_ was topped by Twitter pioneers in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and a number of other Arab countries, against the background of a tweet that was considered offensive to the Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him, published by the spokesperson of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Where the Indian politician wrote in a tweet on his official account on Twitter, wondering why the Prophet Mohammad married Aisha when she was not ten years old, which sparked widespread anger among the islamic world, considering what the Indian official said “crossed the red lines”.
Anger on social media
That tweet sparked widespread outrage, as many saw it as a clear attack on the Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him, and thousands began sharing the hashtag “Except for the Messenger of God, ” in which they expressed their anger against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.
The “International Committee in Support of the Prophet of Islam” page, published a tweet on its account on Twitter, in which it said, “The spokesman for the ruling party in India, the Bharatiya Janata, insults the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace… So is there a deterrent to him?” And she called on Muslims to “blogging through the hashtag, “Except for the Messenger of God,”
Calls to boycott
On the other hand , a part of muslims from all over the world called for a wide boycott of Indian goods. they said that the indian action should not be underistemated , and if so , in the coming days we will see more other things that insult islam and the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him
