The US military announced, on Wednesday, that it will immediately begin demobilizing soldiers who refuse to receive a mandatory anti-Corona vaccine, which puts more than 3,300 soldiers at risk of termination.
The army is the last military service to approve the dismissal of vaccinators. The Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy have already laid off active duty forces or junior personnel in training camps for refusing to receive the vaccine. However, so far the army has not released any of its members from service.
In statment released by the US army last week, more than 3,300 soldiers refused to receive the vaccine. The Army said more than 3,000 soldiers received an official text reprimand, indicating that they had already been identified in a disciplinary process, and some may be among the first to be dismissed.
The US Department of Defense, “the Pentagon” issued orders to all personnel on active duty, the National Guard and reserve soldiers to receive the vaccine, stressing its importance to maintain the health and fitness of soldiers.
